After four successful appearances at BBC Good Food in Birmingham, The Saucy Fish Co. will this year double its presence at the popular BBC consumer event shows by appearing at the BBC Good Food London for the first time. FDI Forum reports.
Over the last four years, the Saucy Fish Co. interactive stand has offered visitors in Birmingham the chance to get up close and personal with the chef as he cooked up samples of the brand’s delicious fish and sauce combinations.
With a mixture of live cooking demonstrations and first hand recipe suggestions, Good Food London will for the first time showcase and educate new consumers on a mixture of six popular Saucy Fish Co. products.
Visitors at both London and Birmingham will be able to snap up a bargain as the brand will run a 3 for £10 offer at both shows. It also hopes to reveal a special Black Friday deal on November 27 in Birmingham.
Sales and Marketing Director Amanda Webb comments: “BBC Good Food in Birmingham has provided a great means to showcase the brand to people who are as passionate about good quality food as we are. We’ve built a loyal customer base there, and hope to replicate our success in London, where sales are already strong with the city’s young commuters looking for a quick and easy dinner for tonight option.”
The Saucy Fish Co. will be exhibiting with the following products including; Salmon Chilli Lime and Ginger, Seabass with Beurre Blanc dressing, Haddock with Vintage Cheddar and Chive sauce, and Squid and King Prawn from the foil Bake Bag range. As well as two products from its Ready To Enjoy range including Roasted Lemon and Herb Salmon with Sicilian lemon and Dill Mayo and Salmon with Tomato Chilli Chutney.
The brand is dedicated to consumer sampling and experiential marketing as a means to showcasing its range of products and overcoming the fear of cooking fish at home. Earlier this year it opened a ‘School of Fish’ pop up which offered free fish meals cooked by 6 year olds to demonstrate cooking fish is child’s play.
The show takes place in November in London, with the show in Birmingham taking place later in the month.
